Elexicon recently helped the pediatric endocrinology department at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital develop a series of online education modules covering a variety of health topics. Parents and families can access these narrated Flash-based animations to view important educational information about their child’s care quickly and conveniently. While not a replacement for doctor visits and advice, these teaching tools are instead intended to provide helpful reminders and refreshers on topics such as diet and weight management — especially for families who live far away from their doctor’s office and nurse educators.
